Hi! I'm JRedWolf1, and welcome to my den! This site is still under some heavy construction, so please bare with me as I get things rollin' ;)You may be wondering why the name changes? Well, when I first discovered Furry around March of 2000... (actually, I that's when I joined the ranks of furry, I knew about it for several months prior...) I had no knowledge of an animal such as a Red Wolf existing... So, I went with the animal that most closely matched my self-image. As time went on, I found that being a fox didn't quite fit... This caused great disappointment, and much depression. It was about then that I had also started talking to several red wolves, and had also started research on the real redwolf... I was intrigued, because they more closely matched the image I had of myself, and also my personality. But I wasn't quite ready to give up fox-hood, so I called myself a Folf for a while (about a month) but that didn't work either, and so around the beginning of August, I went and did it, I finalized the transformation, and as you can see, am now (nearly) 100% Red Wolf (canis rufus). Which, interestingly enough, I still look fairly fox-ish... That is, I retain red-roan fur, and white-ish ventral fur, and a tail bushier than say a timberwolf's... Yeah, I'm quite the odd looking wolf, eh? Well, get to know me better, and you'll find I'm actually quite the cool guy, so my friends tell me... Anyhow, wipe yer paws and c'mon in! As a Note, in the coming months, as I get the time, I will be modifying this to show my new-found understanding of just what I am... I can also honestly say that, as look deeper into myself, I realize that, I'm not entirely fur, nor were... I'm something else I guess... now, that doesn't mean I'm not the same happy-go-lucky goof ball that you all know, just that I tend to take certain things a bit more seriously than most (and some, a little less than most)... The new, and updated info...Anyhow, I've realized another thing... I'm a weird duality of both Redwolf, and Fox... And I'm wondering just what kind of fox? or hybridization of different fox species?... o.o I've always loved climbing trees... The wolf and fox seem to be, although there is meshing, my depressive, and manic phases, respectively. Yes, I'm manic depressive, also known as bi-polar... I only recently owed up to it... but every description I've ever seen, including a "free psychological evaluation" I did for a clinical trial thingy, says that I am... I'm still afraid to do anything about it though, because of what I've seen happen to others, and the drug cocktails they get put on... More new stuff? yeah... Also, I've got new, and updated descriptions of both JFox (when I'm manic) and JRedWolf (when I'm depressive) here... (note: they aren't really G, but then again they aren't really R...) Latest bit of news: I am once again, a single fox. Darkpaw whom I was mated to for a little over two years found someone he felt he was better able to connect with, and as a result... they are now together, and we are not. Ah well, such is the ebb and flow of life.

is a really big scan that I asked Fox2 to send me, so it may take a
little while to load... Note: one of the things that is cool about me having that self image, is that even when I thought I was a fox, I still had the drawings of me tweaked to look more like a red wolf... hence I can still use all the drawings I had commissioned... ;)
